We are seeking a skilled and creative Bar Mixologist who will be responsible for crafting and serving a variety of innovative and high-quality cocktails. Your expertise in mixology, extensive knowledge of different spirits and ingredients, and passion for creating unique flavor combinations will contribute to our restaurant's success.
Responsibilities:
- Create and develop innovative and unique cocktail recipes that align with our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience.
- Prepare a wide range of cocktails, including classic, contemporary, and signature drinks, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Collaborate with the team to contribute ideas for beverage menu updates and seasonal offerings.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering recommendations and answering questions about the drink menu.
- Create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere at the bar, ensuring guests feel comfortable and enjoy their overall experience.
- Offer personalized service by understanding guests' preferences and tailoring drink recommendations accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records of beverage inventory, including stock levels, usage, and wastage.
- Monitor and control costs by minimizing wastage, optimizing ingredient usage, and implementing proper pouring techniques.
- Collaborate with the bar manager to conduct regular stocktaking and assist in placing orders for necessary supplies.
- Adhere to strict hygiene and safety standards to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Properly handle and store all bar equipment, glassware, and ingredients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bar Mixologist or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wines, and craft beers.
- Creativity and passion for developing new and exciting cocktail recipes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple drink orders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality beverages.
